- Travel arrangements:
- After the morning service, the bus and van will depart at 1:30 p.m. on June 25th.
- Lunch will not be provided before departure.
- Bags will need to be dropped off before Sunday School under the children’s church awning.
- Teens will need to remain in church attire for the bus ride. We will be stopping by Southwest Baptist Church (Heartland Baptist Bible College) for the evening service.
- We will be spending the night in the Heartland Baptist Bible College dorms.
- The bag limit is one medium-sized suitcase per person, a personal carry bag (Backpack or handbag) for the ride, and bedding items.
- Teens will need to keep bedding, toiletries, and extra clothes in an easily accessible separate bag for the stay.
- Extra money needed:
- Snack shack at the camp.
- Fast-Food/snack stops for the trip there and back. (2 meals total)
- Sunday evening supper and the one-night stay at Heartland will be provided by the church.
- We expect to return around 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Time will inevitably vary but updates will be provided throughout the trip.
Rules and expectations

If any of the rules listed below are broken, then the parent/legal guardian may be contacted and asked to pick up the student at their expense.
Cell phones can be used while in the vehicle but may be taken at any time
if a youth worker sees fit.No earbuds/headphones will be allowed.
Boys and girls will be seated separately and are never to be separated from a group.
Students must obey the instructions of the youth leaders at all times.
All rules or guidelines that are not mentioned in this document but are enforced at the destination will be adopted by JBYD for the time spent there.
Students must always be in a group and never alone.
Students must remain within the set boundaries provided.
Violence, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, weapons, pornography, and the like are not permitted.
Cell phones will be given to the youth leaders for the period of time spent at the location and the student will not have access to them (To contact your teen, you must call a youth leader).
What to Bring:
Bible, pen, sleeping bag or blankets, pillow, towels, personal toiletries and accessories, sunblock, insect repellent, swimsuit, jacket, extra clothes for getting dirty, dress clothes for services, camera, spending money for Snack Shack.
Ladies’ Attire:
All clothing worn for daily activities as well as for services must be modest and should come to the middle of the knee. Loose-fitting shorts are acceptable for daily activities. Skirts, dresses, or nice casual clothing should be worn for evening services. Shirts with sleeves are recommended; no tank tops or spaghetti strap tops should be worn. All swimsuits should be one piece or should meet in the middle.
All Campers:
All clothing must cover from “neck to knee.” JBC and AGBC reserve the right to request a change in any clothing or behavior deemed inappropriate. All campers are expected to stay the entire week of camp. Attendance is required at all meetings.
Men’s Attire:
All shirts must have sleeves; no tank tops. Jeans, khakis, and athletic pants or shorts may be worn throughout the day. Shorts need to come to the middle of the knee and should not be worn for evening services. Nice, casual clothing should be worn to the evening service – collared shirts are recommended. Recreational clothing should be comfortable, yet conservative.
Extra Camp Costs (optional):
Rifle Range, Snack Shack, Camp T-shirts, Camp Pictures, and Paintball. An offering will be collected each week.
